About This Project
This portfolio started as a fork of Naman Barkiya's minimal-next-portfolio — a clean, developer-focused template. The problem was that my background isn't purely technical. I'm an AI automation specialist, but also a guitarist and a writer. A template built to show GitHub stats wasn't going to cut it.
So I rebuilt it from the inside out. A full MDX blog pipeline with a 3-tier responsive Table of Contents, share buttons, and structured data. A music page with a custom waveform audio player, YouTube RSS integration, and embeds from Spotify and Bandcamp. A writing portfolio with before/after conversion rate graphs. And a visitor notification system — proxy.ts runs on the edge, filters bots across 55+ UA patterns with a JS verification step, and pushes a notification to my phone when a real person visits.
The full codebase is open-sourced as a boilerplate on GitHub — stripped of personal data and ready to fork.
- MDX blog — reading time, 3-tier responsive ToC, share buttons, JSON-LD, Giscus comments
- Visitor notifications — Next.js 16 Edge Proxy + ntfy.sh, 55+ bot patterns, JS human verification
- 3-tier Section Navigator — dot nav / animated line nav / full sidebar, used across 7 pages
- Music page — waveform audio player, YouTube RSS grid, Spotify + Bandcamp embeds
- Writing portfolio with before/after conversion rate graphs
- Full projects system — featured case study cards, screenshot gallery with zoom, GIF-like video demos
- PWA setup, XML sitemap, Vercel Analytics + Umami + Clarity
